WARRANTIES POLICY
Warranties In Relation To Tapwear:
1. Warranties In Relation To Australian Installed And Supplied Products Remedies Are Available To Consumers Under The Trade Practices Act 1974 And Similar State And Territory Legislation Where Goods Are Installed Or Supplied Within The Commonwealth Of Australia.
The Following Applies To Elite, MKII & Trade Pack Mixer Ranges. Plumbers Express Will Repair Or, At Its Discretion, Replace Any Goods Which Are Defective Through Faulty Workmanship Or Materials Within Twelve (12 Months) Of The Purchase Of Goods. In Addition, Plumbers Direct Will Offer A Further Four (9 Year) Parts Only Warranty On Mixer Cartridges. In Any Instances Where The Mixer Has Been Installed In A Commercial Or Industrial Application It Would Be Covered By A Twelve (12 Months) Parts Only Warranty Including Mixer Cartridges. Defects In The Goods Caused By Improper Use, Improper Installation, Surface Damage Caused By Installation, Improper Care Of Goods Or Failure To Observe Any One Or More Of The Following Will Not Be Covered:-
Applicable Health Acts; And
Damage To Tapware Or Any Other Property Ware Goods Have Not Been Installed In Accordance With Regulations And/Or Other Standards Which Govern The Water Supply And Sewerage Plumbing Requirements As Set Out In AS3500 Section 13. (Clause 13.3 PRESSURE REQUIREMENTS; Provisions Shall Be Made To Ensure That The Maximum Operating Pressure At Any Outlet, Other Than A Fire Service Outlet, Within A Building Does Not Exceed 500kpa.)(Clause 13.5 COMMISSIONING; When A Water Service Has Been Completed And Tested, The Operation Of All Valves, Cisterns, Taps, Pressure Relief Valves, And Other Components Shall Be Checked To Confirm Their Correct Performance.)
Minimum Operating Pressure Of 150kpa Is Required, (Not Suitable To Gravity Feed Systems).
Hot And Cold-Water Pressure Should Be Equal
Maximum Hot Water Temperature Of 80 Degrees Celsius
Products Must Not Be Cleaned With Harsh Detergents Or Abrasive Cleaners, Clean With Soft Cloth Soaked With Warm Water.
Any Tapware Not Installed By A Licensed Plumber Will Void The Warranty.
Consequential Loss
To The Extent Permitted By Law, Plumbers Express Will Not Be Liable For Any Loss Of Damage To Furniture, Floor Coverings, Walls, Fixtures Or Any Other Consequential Loss Of Any Kind Caused By Any Defect In The Product Or Components.
